A young girl fresh out of school is depending on a summer job on the New Jersey shore before heading off to college. Her lined up job falls through and she ends up taking a crappy position at a busy restaurant where she also has to teach the foreign employees English.
Amid the lack of job satisfaction with the boss threatening to fire her, and the “English students” refusing to co-operate, naturally the path is cleared for her to fall in love. Paul Sorvino has been scarce of late, so it's good to see him, however small the part. (Kinda makes you want to watch Goodfellas!)
No wild car chases, violence or sex, and certainly not The Jersey Shore. Just a regular story about a girl.
